Rachel (James)

Rachel's surname was probably Richards, since I could find only two Rachels marrying a John James in civil marriage registration records: They were

Rachel Richards. Married at Pontypool Reg District Vol 11a Page 259. Dec Q 1856.

The other was Rachel Thomas (who either married John James or Thomas Morgan) in the Newport Reg District. Vol 11a. Page 283. Jun Q 1854.

  Noted events in her life were:

• Census: 1861, 7 Apr 1861, Twmp, Glascoed, Monmouthshire.

Rachel married John James. (John James was born circa 1831 in Llandenny, Monmouthshire..)
