Albert was born in 1891. He married Winifred Hill. They farmed at the Wern, Glascoed, where his daughter Florence Ann Simons was born, in 1931. Some years later, Albert took charge of the Hill Farm, Glascoed.

In these photographs, we see Albert, out and about at Hill Farm, and posing outside the front door with his wife, Winifred and daughter Ann.

Albert’s son, Dennis took over the Hill Farm after Albert.

Ann married into the Cork family. Her husband lived at Bryn Melyn, Glascoed, which his father had helped to build.
