Edmund Jones was the eldest known son of Edward and Ann Jones. He was christened at Usk Parish Church on 15th December 1774.

This is all I know about Edmund. It is too common a name to assume that Edmunds we find marrying locally were definitely our man! For example, three married at the neighbouring Panteg church in 1803, 1820 and 1827 (all bachelors).
