Lots more info there!

James Williams was born circa 1830/31 in Glascoed. His parents were Roger Williams and Ann Morgan. They had been married in September 1830 and farmed at Beech Farm.

James was the eldest son that I have located. He married a Devon native, named Ann some time between 1851 and 1861 and they had several children:

Willam (born 1859), Mariah (born 1865), Henry (born 1868), George (born 1871) and Emma (born 1875).

They lived at Twyn farm for most of their married life.

James died on the 12th of January 1903 and was buried at Mount Zion Baptist Chapel, the family place of worship. Ann died almost a year to the day later - January 4th 1904. Their son, John, who died on August 16th 1911 “in the twentieth year of his age”, shares their grave.
