1. Mount Zion Baptist Chapel, Glascoed.
Recorded, typed and indexed by Mr David Woolven (Summer 1987) Assisted by Mr Colin Gough. Many thanks to both and also the Gwent Family History Society.
2. Mount Zion Baptist Chapel, Glascoed. Glyn Williams transcription.
Glyn started his transcriptions in 1951, and included some later stones missed by the Woolven transcriptions. Being a native of Glascoed, he added notes showing in many cases which families or places the people buried belonged to. I eventually plan to merge the two transcriptions for a definitive list - though that’s going to be another day’s task! Many thanks to Glyn for his kind permission to use this information.
3. Mount Zion Baptist Chapel, 2005 transcription.
This has been kindly supplied to me, and it was suggested that the credit go to Mount Zion Baptist Chapel for this transcription - so many thanks to them. It contains many newer entries, and as with all transcriptions is worth checking against the other sources.
4. St. Michaels, Glascoed
Inscriptions records by Mrs J. Dunn (to 15/07/1990). Many thanks.
